An introduction to event
licencing, what's required and why.
It's important that PTAs are aware of legislation that may
affect its operation. Depending on your activities you will need to
give consideration to which event licences are required and you
should allow plenty of time to apply.
You will need a licence if you are:
- serving alcohol at your event (free or pay-bar)
- selling raffle tickets in advance of the event
- have live or recorded music at your event
- showing a film

through the various requirements. If you are unsure you can call
