Government red tape cut back will help PTAs (England and Wales
only)
PTA-UK has welcomed the announcement by the Government of its
plans to cut unnecessary regulation of community events which will
reduce red tape and costs for PTAs. It is expected changes
will be phased in over the next 18 months.

Charity Commission action on charity trustees with IVAs
The Charity Commission for England and Wales will soon be
writing to any charity trustees with an individual voluntary
arrangement (IVA) to tell them that they do not qualify to hold a
trustee position and to ask them to step down with immediate
effect. PTA-UK has learned that this includes a number of PTA
committee members.
