1. Acceptance

By accessing this site, you agree to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please do not use this site. You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only and not in any way that might infringe third party rights or that might bring PTA UK into disrepute or ridicule.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold PTA UK and our affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages and expenses arising from your use of this site.

These Terms of Use refer to PTA UK’s web platform located at www.pta.org.uk, any subdomains of www.pta.org.uk, and any related microsites or websites operated by PTA UK, all referred to under the term "the Site".

PTA UK reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use from time to time without notice to you and you agree to be bound by any such changes in your subsequent use of the Site.

The agreement between you and PTA UK is formed on the basis of these Terms of Use (the "Agreement") and will terminate immediately if you breach the Agreement. PTA UK reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time. The termination of this Agreement or your right to use the Site is without prejudice to any rights which the PTA UK may have against you in respect of such breach.

PTA UK does not accept any liability from any inaccuracy or omission in the information or interruption in availability, you are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it. Suggestions or advice contained on this website should not be relied upon in place of professional advice. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of facts, instructions, suggestions and/or opinions given on this website before entering into any commitment based upon them.

Any reference to a linked site or third party by name does not constitute or imply its endorsement by us, and you assume all risk with respect to its use.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials available on the Site (the "Materials") - including but not limited to text, video, data, clips, audio clips, designs, logos, illustrations, still images and html code is either owned by PTA UK, or has been licensed by PTA UK, its partners or sponsors for inclusion within the Site. These are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property and proprietary rights and must not be copied, reproduced, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way without our prior written consent.

All trademarks used or referred to in this site are the property of their respective owners. The content on this site is provided for information purposes and links on this site may lead to services or sites not operated by PTA UK.

PTA UK would like to hear from any intellectual property rights owners who are not properly identified on the Site so that we may make the necessary corrections and display the appropriate notices.

3. Registrations

We may require you to register and provide information about yourself, and where you do this you agree to:

  1. Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself (Registration Data).
  2. Maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate current and complete. 

 

4. Purchases

All orders are subject to our terms and conditions on this page.

We accept your order only when we send an email confirming that we have dispatched the items in your order.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Prices shown include VAT, where VAT is required to be applied to the item under UK law. VAT is charged at the current prevailing rate.

Although we make every effort to ensure the prices listed are correct, mistakes may sometimes be made. If a mistake is discovered in the price of the items you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. In this instance, if we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you your order will be cancelled. PTA UK reserves the right to change prices listed without notice. PTA UK reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual, company or charity.

We do not accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash sent through the post
  • Currency other than UK pounds sterling

Promotions:

  • Any promotions and discounts are given at our discretion and may be withdrawn by us at any time without notice. 

Payment may be made by credit card, debit card and Paypal using Sagepay secure online payment process. A receipt will be will be sent by email from Sagepay confirming payment.

Please note that if you do not provide accurate details or if your credit card company does not authorise payment, your application will be deemed void. PTA UK will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this manner.

Data protection

PTA UK does not sell, trade or rent out your personal information to others. However PTA UK may contact you with useful and interesting additional information regarding our products and services. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.

5. Disclaimers

This Site may contain material which some people may find offensive. PTA UK would like to stress that it has no intention of causing any offence and suggests that people who find material contained on the Site offensive should either not view the material in question or should not visit the Site. PTA UK bear no responsibility for any offence that may be caused by people viewing the Site.

PTA UK makes no promise that the Site will meet your requirements or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free.

PTA UK may discontinue and will modify and update the Site from time to time with or without notice to you and without liability to you or any third party.

Due to the nature of the internet and the fact that your access to the Site involves features outside PTA UK’s control, PTA UK is not responsible for technical problems you may experience with the Site. The Site is provided by PTA UK without any warranties or guarantees. You must bear the risks associated with the use of the Internet.

You understand and agree that PTA UK does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information in or provided in connection with the Site. PTA UK is not responsible for the results obtained from the use of such information from the Site.

To the full extent allowed by applicable law, you agree that PTA UK will not be liable to you/or any third party for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or are related to your use of the Site.

As a convenience to users of the Site, the Site includes links to other web sites or material which are beyond its control. PTA UK is not responsible for content on the Internet or World Wide Web pages outside the Site.

6. General

English law shall apply to these terms, notwithstanding the jurisdiction where you are based. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the English courts. The place of performance shall be England.

PTA UK makes no warranty or guarantee that the Site or information available over it complies with laws other than those of England.
