As the leading organisation championing parental participation in education and school life, PTA UK frequently works with education authorities, central government and policy makers, and other interested bodies to represent our members' views. One of the ways we do this is by contributing to, and inviting our members to contribute to, consultations.

Internet Safety Strategy green paper: ensuring Britain is the safest place in the world to be online - closes 7 December 2017.
The consultation covers various aspects of online safety including support for parents and carers.
The Charity Commission: Annual return for 2018 - information collected from charities - closes 24 November 2017.
The Charity Commission is consulting on changes they propose to make about the Annual Return charities need to complete for financial years starting in 2018, which will affect many PTAs.
The Welsh Government/Llywodraeth Cymru: A reformed post-compulsory education and training system - closes 23 October 2017
A consultation on proposals to create a new Tertiary Education and Research Commission for Wales to protect the interests of learners, plan post compulsory education and training delivery and oversee and coordinate education, research and innovation funding.
