The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is a charity who breed and train guide dogs to help people with visual impairments live independent lives.

The work of Guide Dogs has never been so vital. In the UK today, almost two million people are living with sight loss and of those, around 180,000 rarely leave home alone and many suffer from depression and struggle with feelings of isolation.

We're here to help solve this problem. We provide individual support through our guide dog, sighted guiding and children’s services that helps overcome the emotional and physical challenges faced by people living with sight loss.

We work for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life and where blind people no longer feel invisible; where being blind or partially sighted isn’t what defines you.

We have been supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind for the past two years and have just sponsored our second puppy, which we are very excited about!  The team has been fantastically supportive from day one and in fact Miles even took to the skies to complete a Skydive along with our MD to launch our fundraising activities! Our first puppy, Milo, was born just before Christmas last year and we were delighted to get to meet him.

We love working with and supporting Guide Dogs.

This charity in particular have been a genuine delight to work with; their volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the work they carry out in addition to being exceptionally engaging with the wider student community. Thanks to their help, we've been able to raise in excess of £3,000 since the summer of 2015 for Guide Dogs and I very much look forward to continuing this relationship over the coming years.
